Telecommunications Engineer with more than 50 years of experience in technology, banking, software, and investment. He has held top-level executive positions, including CIO at Banco de Bilbao and Grupo Repsol, and Chief Operating Officer at Banesto.

Founder of PROFit Gestión Informática, a company he grew to 900 employees and €43 million in revenue, later acquired by Sopra Group. As CEO of Sopra PROFit, he drove its expansion to €100 million in revenue and 1,300 employees, while also serving as a shareholder and board member of the group.

He has chaired leading software companies such as Panda Security and Altitude Software, and has served as a board member of Devo, a Spanish technology unicorn. Since 2008, he has been an active investor in Europe and the United States. He is currently the principal shareholder of HWK Tech Investment SGEIC, the second-largest shareholder of WatchGuard (USA), and the largest shareholder of Novabase, Portugal’s largest systems integrator.
