PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), published in May 2016 and applicable as of May 25, 2018, is a regulation of direct application throughout the European Union, and which requires, under the principle of transparency, that data subjects are aware of the circumstances and conditions of the processing of their personal data.

HWK TECHINVESTMENT S.G.E.I.C, S A, a company with registered office at Calle San Joaquín,1 de Las Rozas de Madrid, C.P. 28231, Madrid and with C.I.F. A19939438 (hereinafter, “HWK” or the “Company”), is responsible for the processing of your personal data. This Privacy Policy provides information on the use that the Company will make of your personal data as a user of this Website.

3. NECESSARY AND UPDATED INFORMATION

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the forms on the Website must be completed, so that the omission of any of them could make it impossible to provide the services or information requested.

You must provide truthful information, so that the information provided is always updated and does not contain errors, and you must communicate to the Company, as soon as possible, the modifications and rectifications of your personal data that occur through an email to the address: protecciondedatos@hwk.es.

Likewise, by clicking on the “Accept”, “Send” or equivalent button incorporated in the aforementioned forms, you declare that the information and data you have provided in them are accurate and truthful. 

4. GENERAL INFORMATION: DESCRIPTION OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE PRIVACY POLICY

In this Privacy Policy you will find a table identifying, for each of the different data processing carried out by the Company, the following information:

  1. The purposes of the processing of your personal data, that is, the reason why the Company processes your personal data.

  2. The legal bases that allow the processing of your data by the Company for each of the purposes indicated.

  3. The possible communication of your data to third parties, as well as the reason for such communication. We inform you that we do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless there is a legal obligation. 

    On the other hand, the Company's data processors may have access to your personal data, i.e. service providers who have to access your personal data in order to carry out their functions. We also inform you that some of the systems used by HWK in its operations are located in other countries, whether or not belonging to the European Union, which implies an international transfer of data. For this purpose, HWK has taken appropriate measures to ensure the protection of such data, with a level of protection equivalent to that granted by the GDPR. In any case, the transfer will only be possible if the rights, freedoms and interests of the data subjects do not prevail. You can request more detailed information regarding the recipients of your data by sending an e-mail to protecciondedatos@hwk.es, indicating the specific processing about whose recipients you would like information.

  4. The period of conservation of the data you provide us. We also inform you that your data will remain blocked for the attention of judicial, administrative or fiscal claims, during the periods resulting from the applicable legislation.

Your personal data may also be accessed by the service providers listed in section 4c).

Your data will remain active in the HWK candidate database for 3 years from the date you provided your resume to the Company. Once this period has expired, the blocking obligation imposed by law may apply.

 

6. INFORMATION SECURITY

In accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of the GDPR, HWK undertakes to adopt the necessary technical and organizational security measures to ensure that the processing of personal data it carries out complies with the requirements of current national and European legislation on privacy and data protection. 

7. EXERCISE OF YOUR RIGHTS

We inform you that you may exercise the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data to know which personal data are being processed and the processing operations carried out with them;

  • Right to rectification of any inaccurate personal data;

  • Right to erasure of your personal data, where this is possible;

  • Right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data when the accuracy, lawfulness or necessity of the data processing is in doubt, in which case, we may retain them for the exercise or defense of claims;

  • Right to the portability of your personal data, when the legal basis that enables us to process it from those indicated in the table above is the contractual relationship or consent;

  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data, when the legal basis that enables us to process your personal data from those indicated in the table above is legitimate interest. For these purposes, we will stop processing your data unless we have a compelling legitimate interest or for the formulation, exercise or defense of claims.

  • Right to revoke your consent at any time.

You may exercise your rights at any time and free of charge by sending an e-mail to protecciondedatos@hwk.es or by writing to HWK TECHINVESTMENT S.G.E.I.C, SA, Calle San Joaquín, 1 de Las Rozas de Madrid - 28231- Madrid, indicating the right you wish to exercise and your identification data.

HWK will respond to your requests as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month from receipt of your request. This period may be extended by a further month if necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests received. HWK will inform the interested party of the need for extension within one month of the request.

If the data subject has not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of his or her rights, he or she may lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Supervisory Authority, without prejudice to any legal action he or she may consider appropriate. 8. MODIFICATION AND UPDATING OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

HWK reserves the right to modify and update its Privacy Policy, in compliance with the applicable legislation at all times. Any modification of this policy will be published on this Web Site, so we suggest that you consult the terms of the same with relative frequency.
