Wences is an operating partner at HWK, specialized in the financial and operational management of high-growth technology companies. He graduated in Economics and holds a double master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Financial Management from ESIC, and has over a decade of experience in promoting the startup ecosystem.  

He has played a key role in major success stories within the sector: he was Devo's first CFO until the investment by Insight Partners and, more recently, CFO of Onum, where he led its acquisition by CrowdStrike. His experience focuses on the cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence sectors. 

After years of collaborating with companies in HWK's portfolio, he joined the team to professionalize organizational structures and manage financing rounds. His goal is to provide the portfolio with the necessary operational strength for international expansion.
